Emil Jensen (born 30 April 1984) is a Swedish professional footballer defender who is currently playing for Halmstads BK. Started his career in BK Astrio and, as many others talented players, moved in 1994 to local rivals Halmstads BKs youth team, had to wait until 2001 for his first league game, IFK Norrköping (4-0), was for some time constantly in the teams line-up, but he then got his Anterior cruciate ligament torn witch keept him out of entire 2007 season and he will also miss a majore part of 2008 season because of it.

When Emil was born his father, John, played in Allsvenskan with IS Halmia.
