Emil Fuchs

Emil Fuchs (1874 - 1971) was a German theologian.
He published many texts on Christian Socialism. He was one of the first Lutheran pastors to join the Social Democratic Party of Germany. A committed pacifist, he later joined the Quaker faith. He was a Fellowship holder at Woodbrooke College (now Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre), Selly Oak, England during 1934-5. One of his sons was Klaus Fuchs, a convicted atomic spy.
