[edit] Embassy Chancery

The Embassy Chancery on Henrik Ibsens gate was designed by Finish-American architect Eero Saarinen, who also designed the American Embassy in London. The Chancery in Oslo, which was completed in 1959, forms a uniquely shapped triangle that is stark in its dark colour. Physical security measures for the American Chancery were increased after the September 11, 2001 attacks in the U.S.
