Emanuel Friedman

Emanuel J. Friedman co-founded Arlington, Virginia-based investment banking firm Friedman, Billings, Ramsey in 1989 with Eric F. Billings and W. Russell Ramsey. He stepped down as co-chief executive officer and co-chairman in June 2005. Before starting FBR, Friedman was a senior vice president at Johnston Lemon & Co, and a retail broker at Legg Mason.
