While I'm not wholly certain this animal passes notability guidelines (whichever apply to "ugly" dogs), news coverage such as the following –

• "Fetched the ugly stick 1,000 too many times
• "And The World's Ugliest Dog Is ..."
• "'Ugliest dog' filmed for Animal Planet: Students learn about inner beauty"
• "‘Ugly dog’ sends beautiful message"
• "Elwood the mutt crowned ugliest dog"

– leads me to believe the deletion of this article ought to be discussed first. As such, I'm contesting deletion for the time being. --Sugarbutty 11:57, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
