[edit] Upfront Rewards
This credit card offers a computer (the 'upfront reward') worth about $300 to customers who implicitly agree to pay the company approximately $2000 to obtain a credit card and borrow some money for about a year, and makes similar offers through regular TV and junk mail advertising in the USA. The terms of the offer have led to widespread criticism. [1] Note: I'll be back to fill out this article ASAP. I'm waiting for admins to cooperate by providing researched content from previous versions of Upfront Rewards. Last version had an epinions link.
