Elton Motello was a punk and New Wave band & vocalist probably best known for the hit single "Jet Boy, Jet Girl". Elton Motello is both the moniker of Alan Ward (aka Alan Timms), the lead singer and songwriter - composer Lou Deprijck - , and the name of the band itself. The band is composed of Alan Ward; Bertr' (Roger Jouret); Yves Kengen (later known as Yke N. Raxola) & Mike Butcher (later known as Jet Staxx) and, alternating sets of studio musicians for Elton Motello "3") lead by Ward. As an interesting sidenote "Ça Plane Pour Moi" Plastic Bertrand(aka Roger Jouret but sung by Lou Deprijck/Depryck/De Pryck) has the same backing track as "Jet Boy Jet Girl"Elton Motello "2"'s, November 1977 because Bertrand used the same backing track to record the song, December 1977.
