I feel very strongly about Wikipedia:Avoid weasel words and Wikipedia:Verifiability!

I also feel very strongly that people deserve to have their names spelled correctly. Teemu Selänne's name is Teemu Selänne. Teemu Selanne is just as wrong as Teemu Selbnne, and I fight against dumbing down Wikipedia because some North American editors find "the swiggles, the swirls & the dots" "annoying".

There is a strange multiplicity of editors who claim that diacritics are not "English" and are therefore "foreign" and undesireable on this English-language Wikipedia. This is a simple argument to address: List of accented words in English language. Also, they should note that native speakers of English do not own English.
