Sorry to vandalize my own page. Here is the record:

  • On 21/Apr/2005 I deleted everything because it was old and stale.
  • On 04/Oct/2006 I did the same. I didn't like some of the comments I was getting. I am getting kinda bored with all the reverts and "irrelevant" votes and ratings and what have you.
  • And again on 11/Feb/2007.

I was waiting for you... hehe. You and I have unfinished business.

[edit] Che, Pincha

Todo lo que borraste no me parecen excesos. Con ver cómo la gente no entiende que es "del Plata" y no "de la Plata" ya me parece que hacen falta suficientes aclaraciones. Fue un poco unilateral lo tuyo. --Damifb 12:55, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ginassssia...

Pense que el mote de 'subcampeones' era mas generalizado, como 'gallinas', 'capeon de copas', et al. Ahora lo saco.

Che, que mal que vienen los equipos argentinos en las copas ultimamente, espero que le podamos ganar a los brazucas.

Saludos, --Mariano(t/c) 13:35, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Squad templates

Hi, I intend to do something about the squad templates over the next few days and weeks, its hard to keep track of exactly who's in and out when most of the club websites dont keep their squads uptodate, also the transfer window is still open so there are probably still more squad changes before the end of the month. I will however take Calderon etc out of the Estudiantes template to save your eyes a bit ;)King of the North East 11:58, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Leandro Desábato

Ok. I see now that the other page indicated has a reference which I had missed. Still think there should be a reference in the Leandro Desábato article itself. Also, the article needs an infobox, and other standard information. We are trying hard to standardize and document Argentinean football in WP:ArF. Please join us by adding your name to the list and helping improve the information on Estudiantes and other teams (yes, pinchas are accepted too :-) -- Alexf(t/c) 21:22, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Diego

Please provide references to your addition. `'Míkka 02:34, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

For the additions at the beginning, you may want to look up "Jacobo" in the Spanish Wikipedia at [1], or this article (in Spanish): [2] with roughly the same content.
"Diaz" as patronymic is explained in literally hundreds of places, including all student editions of the Cid. See for example this (in Spanish): [3] or this Portuguese Wikipedia article [4]
The additions at the end (history sections) are all referenced to the respective texts, some of them may be available at a library near you. I do not know if any of them is online. elpincha 14:10, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] I hope you approve

I hope you like what I did to the Notable players in the Estudiantes article, I found a few missing ones to add in as well. The picture was on Spanish wikipedia. If you have any comments or suggestions let me know, take care. King of the North East (T/C) 00:34, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Veron

People keep changing Veron's current club to D.C. United, do you think there's any truth behind the rumours? --King of the NorthEast 02:36, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] articulo falso

KeNNy 17:09, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re:Agur as a Prophet in Christianity

I put Agur as a Prophet in Christianity because I am using as reference List of Prophets of Christianity. I am also using this for any other names you may have removed from this Category Kathleen.wright5 08:22, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

I have reverted your "fact" tag placed upon Agur in the List of Prophets of Christianity, since the reference is already provided by the list element. Proverbs 30:1 identifies the words of Agur as "prophecy," fulfilling the inclusion criteria of the list as "either by explicit statement or strong contextual implication." Naturally, one speaking prophecy is a prophet. Now, just about every commentary I've seen about that verse speaks about "Agur the prophet," so technically the list item can be sourced externally, but that would be redundant, not to mention unique among the other entries that are simply relying on the primary source material as indicated in the header section. Zahakiel 03:29, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
Care to cite some of said commentary? elpincha (talk) 18:01, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
Of course: "On the Purity of The Heart," by Rev. John Witherspoon, "The Privy Key of Heaven," from The Complete Works of Thomas Brooks, "Accidents DO Happen!" by Herman L. Hoeh, from the "Good News" newsletter of the Worldwide Church of God, "His Son's Name," by Dr. Henry M. Morris... I could literally go on for hours, and these are all published and recognized Bible commentators from a variety of movements (see the entry on the WCOG re: Dr. Hoeh, for example). As I said in my comment on your page, for the purposes of that list, the primary source is the material used, since it is hardly a controversial list. Zahakiel 18:15, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
Your additions to the Agur article are very precise and informative :) Zahakiel 17:52, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Estudiantes players

Hi, I just made these, maybe you could look over them and make sure they are O.K.

--Regards, King of the NorthEast 02:31, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

    • Maybe you could get La Volpe as your new manager, since he's already given you one championship ;-). King of the NorthEast 18:49, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sensini

I saw you comment his name out on the Estudiantes article, I don't know why people are so keen to be the first to announce managerial appointments, transfers etc. I get so sick of reverting them and all the unsourced rumours, Veron to Sunderland, Falcao Garcia to Aston Villa, Sergio Agüero to Newcastle. I just wish these people could do some constructive editing rather than trying to predict the future. Anyway what do you make of Sensini? he wasn't very good at Udinese, maybe he'll do better in his homeland? Regards, King of the NorthEast 01:52, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Lazzaro

Oh right, I saw this [5] and thought it was done. King of the NorthEast 14:50, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Clasico

Hi mate, I just did this La Plata derby, perhaps you could look over it for any mistakes. It still needs statistics on the topscorers in the history of the clasico platense, I imagine there are more players who have played for both clubs too. Let me know if you know of any good sources of information and statistics. Best wishes, English peasant 23:20, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Buenos Aires Public Transport

Dear Elpincha, I am totally shocked at the very un-encyclopedic remarks you have made in the Public Transport section of Buenos Aires

Here are the facts:

1] That "...there have been cases of taxi drivers robbing assaulting passengers", maybe, but as a matter of fact, Buenos Aires its the second favourite city by travelers according to Travel +Leisure Magazine worlds best / 2007 so over 5 million tourists cant be wrong. I have been assaulted by taxi drivers in New York and pickpockets in Milano but trivial info like this is not mentioned in their pages.
By the way, Buenos Aires tourism growth is impressive and is expected to grow even more in coming years, I dont work for the tourism company, just travel a lot to BsAs and most taxi drivers are magnificent human beings compared to other cities.
2] That "...there is no city operated transit, and there is no transfer scheme across lines!", RE: Buenos Aires has one of the best transportation systems of the world according to Urban Design publications, and cheapest too, that is what "competition" is, trademark to the free world!
3] That "Bus line operators must comply with city regulations on security and pollution control..." RE: unfortunately buses are highly polluting but this you did not include!
4] That "Organized crime "used to control" the access of taxis to the city airports and other major destinations." again, trivial info like this is not mentioned in articles of other "well known international cities" in wich this occurrs and has occurred!
and finally...
5] Buenos Aires indeed did have the largest street railway system in the world with Chicago being a close second, need citations, will look them up for you!

So, personally I believe your comments about Public Transport section of Buenos Aires are bias opinionated and way off and should be reverted to expressions made originally by possibly new Wikipedian Contributor: 67.224.161.28.

Kind regards ~ Moebiusuibeom-en (talk) 21:02, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] No worries

I like tidying up around here, so it was fun to learn a bit about Pachame, one of the most important footballers I've written about in a good while. Just one request though; could you make sure to add categories (such as Cat:Argentine footballers or whatever is appropriate) to the articles you create. It makes it so much easier for other editors to find them. All the best. English peasant 21:37, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
