[edit] This

This should be renamed elongated labia as Khoikhoi apron is not in common usage. --Ezeu 02:18, 26 June 2006 (UTC)

No. It should be renamed back to "Hottentot apron" as that seems to be the used term. E.g. Merriam-Webster's Medical Dictionary, Sex-Lexis. Whereas "elongated labia" refers to something more general out of scope for the article. Rune X2 (talk) 15:32, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Yeah . . .

Um, the paper that this stuff is taken from? Someone should check out the site that posted it. I admit that I'm not familiar with the author's work; I am, however, distrustful of anything seen as important by far-right white supremacist Holocaust deniers. Perhaps someone should look at Stephen Jay Gould's book and the new one on Saartje Baartman that just came out. 70.105.71.136 19:20, 16 April 2007 (UTC)Liz

I cannot see anything in the article that is blatanty POV, but it would probably be better if a different, more neutral reference was used instead of one taken from a white supremacist website. --Ezeu 19:52, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Better Picture

Any way we can get some better pictures? The ones on there now look like they came from the seventeenth century! I don't know anyone with this sort of labia or I would take the picture myself. But PLEASE let us upload a picture that is decent and not old old old old. Ask D.N.A.- Peter Napkin (talk) 23:37, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Nature or Nurture?

Part of this article says that this is appearantly a genetic trait, but later it says that it is female genital mutilation. Can someone clarify?
