Elmhurst Great Western Prairie

The Elmhurst Great Western Prairie is a subsection of the Illinois Prairie Path in Elmhurst, Illinois that has been maintained since 1977 by the Elmhurst Park District.

The Elmhurst Great Western Prairie is comprised of a small plot of land that through incomplete land allocation, have allowed it to remain undisturbed from even before the very first settlers of Elmhurst.

According to a 1977 survey conducted by the Elmhurst Prairie Project, the following plants are present there:
