[edit] Elm City Gun Club
The Elm City Gun Club (ECGC) was established in 1941 and incorporated in 1945. The club is located in East Haven, Connecticut. The ECGC is a non-profit corporation (Article I, Section 3 of the Constitution and By-laws). The membership is restricted to no more than 325 members (Article XIII, Section 1). The Elm City is the nickname of New Haven, Connecticut.

[edit] History
- 1890's The Cities Service Rifle and Pistol Club of New Haven was established on land owned by the Winchester Arms Company.
- 1940 The Cities Service Rifle and Pistol Club was dissolved.
- 1941 The Elm City Gun Club was formed from the dissolved club. The club was located on Bradley Street in East Haven, CT.
- 1945 The Elm City Gun Club was incorporated.
- 1954 The club moved to its present location on North High Street, East Haven, CT. The Nutmeg Gun Club continued to use the Bradley Street site.
- 1960's The remaining 100+ members of the Nutmeg Gun Club were accepted as members of the Elm City Gun Club.
