Hi, this is DJ Ellis page on www.myspace.com
About him: Ellis became first recognized on the Warsaw club scene in 1995. His first set was performed at Warsaw's Blue Velvet inspired by rhythms of dirty house, minimal, and deep. Further musical development occurred while working as a dj in France, Holland and Great Britain. Ellis's close proximity to music began at a very young age, his education started as a lead guitarist in a jazz-funk garageband in 1994, at the time playing keyboard and taking lessons in sound engineering. He completely devoted his passion for playing and collecting music to mixing. His successes are felt beyond live performance; he arranges music for fashion shows, radio auditions, TV, and theatre. In 2000, he was recognized by the Amoeba agency with whom he collaborates to this day. . His fascination with acoustic as well as digital sound, lead to his collaboration with friends creating the musical group, Yego Soundsystem. From that moment on, Ellis has been professionally producing and publishing music. He often performs in Warsaw's top venues such as Piekarnia, Utopia, Klubokawiarnia and Klatka, he also appears at events such as Love Bomb and Audio Trash. In fact, Ellis has played virtually all of the respected venues in Poland. On invitation, DJ Ellis often performs outside of Poland as well. Such as London's parties, Norway's Musical Festival in Oslo and Vice, club Now & Wow in Rotterdam, Club Catedral in Sevilla Spain, and many more. His music is often referred to as house, however, Ellis personally calls his sound "sexy deep'n'electro". The overall climate, sound and energy is its foundation, combined with incredible precision and technique excites his audience. For DJ Ellis a set is a complete whole without individual tracks. All this has lead to DJ Ellis's collaborations with renowned artists, such as Eddie Amador, Hatiras, Andy Cato (Groove Armada), Phil Kieran, Tiesto, Chicken Lips, Touché, Rob Bright, Mutiny UK, King Unique, Matt Samo, James Fierce, Superfunk, Silicone Soul, Paul Farris, Paul Jackson, Kidstuff, Satoshi Tomiie, Gus Gus, De Phazz, Medicine 8, Scanty, Tom Middleton, Roman Lieske, Jeremy Scott, Richard Sen, Santos, Alex Kid, Roger Sanchez, Junior Vasquez and many more.
