Elko New Market, Minnesota

Elko New Market is a new city, formed in January 2007, from Elko and New Market in Scott County, Minnesota, United States. Voters approved the merger in March 2006 by a margin of 437-85[1]. The estimated 2006 population of Elko New Market is 3,168[2], up from 804 in the 2000 census of the two cities. Interstate 35 and County 2 are two of the main routes in the community.
