Elkinsville is an unincorporated town in Van Buren Township, Brown County, Indiana. The town was once a thriving village, but due to the flooding of nearby Monroe Reservoir, the town was evacuated. Browning Mountain, a mountain biker's heaven, is located in Elkinsville. All that is left of Elkinsville today is the Elkinsville Cemetery and post office.
