I just started this page with a quote from the orig. manifesto. I would like to add the 1996 manifesto and commentary of the manifesto from various sources--Muslim and other. In addition, I would plan to wikilink the text and make other improvements so it is not just a full text quote. This is currently just a start. Elizmr 11:13, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

Oh, by the way, the reason I decided to start this page is that when I was looking for the orgs statement of purpose awhile back I could not find anything on the Web. Given Hezbollah's prominence in world politics, it should be an easier thing to find and read, so I started a Wiki page on it. Elizmr 11:20, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
