Freedom deficit

I've replied to your concerns on the AfD. Let me know if there's more you'd like to see to reconsider the nom. Wl219 03:30, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Great, I've added it to my watchlist and I'll work on expanding and de-orphaning it. Wl219 23:32, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

Peter Franklin Jr

Hello, why is there a delteting thing on the Peter Franklin Jr page. He is a motor racing driver, and there are plenty of racing drivers on wikipedia, so why try to delete this one?

The Will and Grace page

Hi,

I didn't actually edit the Will and Grace page, although I am rather concerned about the fact that it seems like someone else is using my IP address. I'm pretty sure it's not a shared IP address, because when I moved to the new provider about a month ago I asked for a static IP. I also happen to like Will and Grace, and find leaving comments like that purely moronic. - Charlene

Suddam

Hey, thanks for pointing it out, I had intended to delete it first, but then decided that it might be a plausible spelling error for a redirect. Take care -- Samir 06:08, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

Adding CSDs

Just so you know, it's considered proper to put a message on the talk page of the user whose article you put a CSD on. See WP:WARN for more details. GlassCobra 06:08, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

No problem, it definitely gets fast-paced around here. There were only a few that I saw, one was Freewebs.com/fatfireball. Don't worry, though, I took care of the ones that I saw missing. Happy editing! GlassCobra 06:18, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

Paralympian of the year

Hi there. I notice that your merged the content from the article Paralympian of the year into the article on Paralympic Games. I'm not sure that this was appropriate. The merged content refers to an award given by one country to a Paralympic athlete from that country; the article itself covers the entire Games from an international perspective. I realize the Paralympian article was kind of stubby, but I don't really think the content belongs in the Paralympics article, any more than information on a national Olympian of the Year award would belong in Olympic Games. What do you think? - Eron Talk 16:59, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

Just thought I'd let you know, I pulled together all the USOC athlete awards into a single USOC Athlete of the Year article. The USOC Paralympian award now redirects there, and there are proper links to all the USOC awards from the USOC page. (Well, except for the USOC Olympic Spirit Award which... I'm working on. - Eron Talk 23:37, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Re: Asbury Automotive Group COI

Thank you for clearing that up. What action should be taken should this tag be removed by the anon user? JoshEdgar 14:53, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Vandalism by User: 170.185.83.19

Hi. You were the last one to warn this user about vandalism; they just vandalized the [President of the United States]] article. I'm not sure what can be done; can you please assist? Thanks. Info999 16:37, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

BLP ?

14:26, 22 August 2007 Eliz81 (Talk | contribs) m (10,186 bytes) (Reverted good faith edits by 216.21.61.185; No citation for BLP fact. using TW)
What's a "BLP fact"? Thanks, Pdfpdf 18:08, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi Pdfpdf, long time no see! I was referring to WP:BLP, which requires quite stringently that biographies of living people are carefully sourced and cited, especially if disparaging. The user before edited the bio of the living singer Michael McDonald (singer), claiming he was known for his "legendary sexual exploits". I'm assuming this was vandalism, but I tried to assume good faith and merely point out that such a claim requires a citation to back it, instead of calling it vandalism. Hope this clears it up, Eliz81(talk)(contribs) 18:13, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Ahhh. Always the diplomat! Thanks for the decoding.
Yes, it has been a while. I guess now that I've been around for a little while, I have a better idea how WP works, and I'm stepping on less toes! Cheers, Pdfpdf 18:20, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Usernames for administrator attention

Thank you for making a report at Wikipedia:Usernames for administrator attention. Unfortunately your report has been removed due to the username not violating policy, or not being blatant enough for a block. Please remember you should only post blatant infringements on this page. Others should be discussed with the user in question first, using the {{UsernameConcern}} template. A request for comment can be filed if the user disagrees that their name is against the username policy, or has continued to edit after you have expressed your concern. Thank you.

The Working Man's Barnstar
Nah, I'm just kidding. This barnstar is to recognize your fine efforts to report usernames to UAA, of which I might have blocked 20 today. Keep up the good work! Maxim(talk) 20:24, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

Response to your concern

I appreciate your calling me a potentially valuable contributor. I have made a response to your expressed concern. Be well, Gregbard 20:23, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

Re: Admin?

Thank you so much for thinking of me! However, I'm actually going on holiday very shortly, so now wouldn't be a good time. I'd also think it probably wise to leave it a little longer after my partial break, as consistency of recent edit history is something that's frequently brought up in RfA. Thanks again for the thought. Regards, Espresso Addict 22:46, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

Please consider using talk pages

I saw your name on WP:ANI. Frankly, I'm not impressed by misuse of the administrators' noticeboard. If you have a problem with a wikipedian, try to explain your position on his talk page. These pages exist in Wikipedia for a good reason. Please consult our guidelines before going to the administrators' noticeboard next time.
