[edit] Talk: Doc Hammer

You had recently stated on the discussion section of the Doc Hammer article that the article needed to be improved to Wikipedia's standard of quality. Would you please be a bit specific for me? -Diabolos 18:56, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Gladiator (novel)

Thanks for your contributions to this article. On Talk:Gladiator (novel) I have pointed out some aspects of the article for which sources ought to be cited. Please also note some formattign changes that User:Kappa and i have made, for future reference. You might want to look at the Manual of Style and Wikipedia:Cite sources and possibly Wikipedia:Footnote3. Please leave a msg on my talk page if yiou have any questions about any of this, or If I can be of any help. Welcome. DES (talk) 16:48, 12 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] The Ever-Gregarious Grasshopper!

I see you've done work on Dan Slott and other GLA/X related pages and wondered if you had any comments/suggestions/changes to add to Grasshopper (comics). I made the page from scratch and would really enjoy any input. It does have spoilers for the GLX-mas Special if you haven't read that, though. --sigmafactor 16:19, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Please remember

to sign your entries on all talk pages with 4 tildes (~~~~). Thanks! KillerChihuahua?!? 18:07, 20 December 2005 (UTC)

I usually do remember, But I was worried that vandal might attempt to stalk me in some form or another. It's a possibility he might not be familiar enough to find my name in the history section, which anyone with benevolent motivations could have Elijya 18:11, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
Why are you worried about a vandal? Someone will revert. Please sign. KillerChihuahua?!? 20:00, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
Because it could become a major annoyance. In any case, that talk page has been locked now, so it's moot point. I'm sure you have much more pressing matters to attend to. Elijya 20:03, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
Apologies if I seemed to be pestering you. Please see WP:SIG (read the first sentence if nothing else) and I promise to stop bugging you about it. It may comfort you to know, my user page has been vandalized only once, and that was by an anon vandal whose edits I had reverted, and it was reverted before I even knew it happened. KillerChihuahua?!? 22:47, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
I'm aware of the policy and the importance of it, I usually do sign my comments, I've explained why I did not on this occassion, no further discussion is warrented. There are users out there who NEVER sign their posts you should be concerning yourself with. Elijya 15:43, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] G.L.A. profiles

Knowing you are a fan of the GLA, I'd like to ask for your help in finally getting some profile pages for them onto wikipedia. I've already made a Mr. Immortal page, which I hope you can check over and maybe fill up some more. I was planning on at least making a Doorman page somewhere in the immediate future. Let me know what you think. Kusonaga 18:10, 27 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Leland_High_School

I simply labelled the article for the Wikiproject to try to get serious attention paid to it by those editors. I don't see why you left "rump quivering" if you were interested in editing out superfluous and nonsensical info. - CobaltBlueTony 16:52, 28 December 2005 (UTC)

I didn't read it that closely. But that still doesn't explain why you left the other sections in. Elijya 16:57, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
By adding the tag, I hoped to elicit a response from the schools editors, who would naturally take care of all of that stuff. Next time, I shall be more diligent. ;-) - CobaltBlueTony

[edit] protecting your userpage

I've semi-protected it, which might help somewhat. If it was fully protected, then you yourself wouldn't be able to edit it. -- Curps 08:56, 2 January 2006 (UTC)

gratzi! Elijya 15:15, 2 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cap's shield

I responded to your comment on my user talk page. --Cyde Weys votetalk 19:36, 11 January 2006 (UTC)

In relation to tenses - there's no hard and fast rule, really. Go ahead and change the tenses if you want, as long as it remains consistent. --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 23:13, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
My pleasure! Good work on the article. --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 02:01, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ebony Blade

Thanks for moving my Ebony Blade article to the right category. I tried it myself after I made it, but I only created my account a couple of days ago and it said I hadn't been a member long enough to move things. TheCorpulent1 22:40, 25 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Superman learning to fly

I gave an answer to your question on the Superman talk page. I thought I'd tell you here just in case you missed it. --Wade A. Tisthammer 22:30, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Spider Jerusalem

Aside from whether it was one percent or ten percent, the sentence really doesn't need an exclamation point. DS 01:32, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

Then why did you leave this message and not go back and fix it? Elijya 06:57, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] A Mediation Cabal case involving you has been requested

Hello there! I am Cowman109Talk from the Mediation Cabal. A case for mediation has recently been requested and you have been listed as an involved party. Please see Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2006-06-10 User:Sean Black and Man-Faye and join in on the discussion if you could so we can settle the matter. Thanks! [edit] Advise please

Hi, I have been trying to fix the problem of a search for 'dangerous (album)' only yielding a result that lists Michael Jackson's album, as I have created a page for the Bill Hicks album of same name. But it has all went horribly wrong.. if you check these edits i made you'll see what i mean (it looks a lot below, it's just past 5 edits i made really) ;

00:54, 15 June 2006 (hist) (diff) Dangerous (Bill Hicks album) (created page)
00:50, 15 June 2006 (hist) (diff) Talk:Dangerous (album) (disambiguation) (need help here plz) (top)
00:43, 15 June 2006 (hist) (diff) Dangerous (album) (disambiguation) (created page. required to differentiate between Hicks, Jackson, etc) (top)
00:22, 15 June 2006 (hist) (diff) Talk:Dangerous (help needed for this Q. I'm not wading through wiki's help books sorry.) (top)
00:07, 15 June 2006 (hist) (diff) m Dangerous (Dangerous (album) needs it's own disam.page (Hicks, Jackson, etc)) (top)
00:01, 15 June 2006 (hist) (diff) Dangerous (added Hicks' 'Dangerous' from 1990)

How do i undo the page heading for disambiguation page of Dangerous (album) so that the word 'disambiguation' isnt there? Or should it be there? kinda confused. [[1]] Oh and feel free to delete all above afterwards thanks. Dirk Diggler Jnr 01:07, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] What's so funny about Truth, Justice & the American Way?

I agree that it is probably not worth having an entry on this - I've just been sorting out the various Elites and start The Elite which seems the more natural home for the information. If that seems like a plan one of us can sort out the merge request. (Emperor 18:04, 7 July 2006 (UTC))

Oh my god; this has an article? Let me know about any deleted discussions. --Chris Griswold () 09:16, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Nextwave

Great work on this article. Thanks. --Chris Griswold () 09:16, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Bar With No Name

The Bar With No Name was the place where Scourge of the Underworld killed several supervillains. I don't believe it was ever mentioned before then. I could be wrong, however. Also, I'm not sure if it was ever used again. There was a supervillain bar utilized in the Spider-Man's Tangled Web series, but I think it had a different name. --GentlemanGhost 00:14, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Captain America's Shield

You should add a spoiler alert to this section because it gives away the death of Captain America

169.232.126.64 08:22, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

I don't think that's really necessary since his death has been reported in almost every major newspaper in the country, as well as talked about on dozens of popular radio programs and television shows. No one is going to have this spoiled by this wikipedia article by now. In any case, flat out deleting the information was not the correct answer. Elijya 17:02, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Tenses

Yep, pretty much. It's part of the policy regarding articles dealing with comic book characters or items or what have you. Even if a character is dead, he or she is still supposed to be referred to in the present tense. It doesn't really make much sense to me either. I guess policy doesn't really have to make sense.
