[edit] Unschooling & Constructivism
I'm not personally familiar enough with unschooling to contribute a section to the constructivism article. If you've got sources that connect the two ideas and can write it up, go for it! Constructivism can apply to both very structured and very unstructured learning environments, so it might apply with unschooling. Like I said though, I don't know enough about it, especially in terms of the pedagogical underpinnings, to write it myself. Skimming the unschooling article, I don't see anything about a formal learning theory behind it. This would require some sources to back it up, especially since the connection isn't present in the main article.
By the way, part of why you aren't seeing much for specific applications within the main constructivism article is because they're in a separate article: Constructivist teaching methods. In fact, that article might be a better place to include unschooling as an example than the main learning theory article. WeisheitSuchen (talk) 03:55, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
