[edit] Tuba quartet

In 1960 Elisabeth Lutyens revived the use of a Wagner tuba quartet in her Quincunx.

What does this mean? When did the Wagner tuba quartet start to fall in to disuse? When was it ever in use? And how did she manage to fit all those Wagner tubas into her Quincunx? I need answers! --Rschmertz 01:15, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

Hello Rschmertz,
The main info came from this web page [Wagner Tuba and E Lutyens].
I am looking through the web to find other references but hopefully someone who deals with this area as part of their job will be able to help.
