[edit] Assessment

It's always hard to provide a definitive assessment on articles about comparatively minor historical figures, because you can't be sure whether there actually is any more information on the subject available. That may be the case here. However, by general wikipedia guidelines, this article qualifies as a stub. The information it contains is good, but the coverage of the subject's life in general is rather limited. Generally, somewhere, like maybe the Missouri Historical Society, more information can be found. That's generally, however, and not at all true in all cases. It should be noted that the stub designation is not intended as being in any way a negative one. The article on Pope Soter contains literally everything known about the subject, so far as I can tell, and it's still called a stub as well. John Carter (talk) 23:10, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Agree. Information still limited, especially on the internet. But I have done some work on the article today which guarantees no dispute about assessment at least. Ref (chew)(do) 01:06, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

I agree that this article should be rated as a "stub" at this time, and I would have applied that rating if I had not been previously told by another editor that rating an article I created is generally frowned upon on Wikipedia. --TommyBoy (talk) 02:51, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
