[edit] Separate article for the tornado

I've decided that the tornado warrants a separate article of its own, and so created a new one - see Elie, Manitoba Tornado. It is a significant in the sense that it was the first officially designated F5 tornado in Canada (keep in mind that there also separate articles for other Canadian tornadoes here in Wikipedia). A separate article also might be easier to find for users searching for information on this tornado in Wikipedia. The information on the tornado, however, is very good and thus remains mostly intact in the new article with some modifications. NorthernFire 22:39, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

I agree since F5 tornadoes are a separate class in themselves and should always be given articles regardless of the circumstances IMO. (Had it not been upgraded, I would have opposed the article as there were no deaths or significant injuries and not many other tornadoes) CrazyC83 02:25, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
