Until James Hubbard was executed by Alabama at the age of 74 on 5 August 2004, Elias Hanna Syriani was the oldest person executed in the United States, at the age of 67.

Is it just me, or does this make absolutely no sense? Syriani was executed after Hubbard, and was younger. Maybe change "Until" to "except for"? Or maybe he was the oldest guy on death row? This is very confusing claim. 165.254.107.2

It is simply lame, come see the "OLDEST MAN EXECUTED IN A WHOLE YEAR". 12.20.127.229 20:16, 21 November 2005 (UTC)

Although it isn't actually in the article, 67 is quite old for someone to be executed. In fact Syriani is the second oldest person executed in the United States since 1976. Evil Monkey - Hello 23:15, 21 November 2005 (UTC)

I deleted the external links with newspaper articles, because a few links didn't work. The Winston-Salem journal one did. BartonBelle 10:10, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
