Elizur H. Prindle

Elizur H. Prindle (May 6, 1829 - October 7, 1890) was a U.S. Representative from New York.

Born in Newtown, Connecticut, Prindle completed preparatory studies. He attended the local academy at Homer, New York. He studied law. He was admitted to the bar in 1854 and practiced. He moved to New York and practiced law in Norwich, Chenango County. He was district attorney of Chenango County, New York from 1859 to 1863. He served as member of the State assembly in 1863. He served as member of the State constitutional convention in 1867 and 1868.

Prindle was elected as a Republican to the Forty-second Congress (March 4, 1871-March 3, 1873). He resumed the practice of law. He died in Norwich, New York, October 7, 1890. He was interred in Mount Hope Cemetery.
