Elizabeth McRae is a New Zealand actress, best known for her portrayal of Marjorie Brasch (née Neilson) on the soap opera Shortland Street from 1992 until 1996 with further appearances in 1998 and 2002.
Elizabeth's daughter Katherine is also an actress. Katherine McRae has followed in her mother's footsteps by having starred in Shortland Street twice in two separate roles; first as Marj's illegitimate daughter in 1992, and more recently as Nurse Brenda Holloway (2006-2007).
She appeared in Geoff Murphy's film Never Say Die, starring Temuera Morrison.
