Amber is an animal lover with two cats who volunteers at a local no-kill shelter. Her other hobbies include cooking, shopping, and spending time with her mom and her sister. She majored in art history in college.[1] She is now an art historian specializing in ancient Greco-Roman artifacts.[2]

Elizabeth Amber wrote her first books based on Greco-Roman artifacts celebrating the grape harvest. She wrote her first book, Nicholas, [3] and then went to a Romance Writers of America conference to learn where to submit her book. Kensington bought the series.[1] Nicholas has been critically acclaimed by many reviewers [4] and has been mentioned in Publishers Weekly. [5]
