Elza Jakubek, is an Hungarian model. She modeled for top agency, Marilyn Agency, in Paris and New York as well as Why Not Models in Milan. Jakubek was reportedly on option for fashion campaigns in Milan and Paris whilst in New York. However, New York artist Biagio Black, Jakubek's boyfriend at the time, had persuaded her to stay in New York with him. Not long after, she was dropped from Marilyn Agency and Why Not Models due to skipping out on her jobs in Milan and Paris.

Jakubek soon got offered a job for Project Runway, a popular American series hosted by fellow model, Heidi Klum. She was reportedly hit by a bus, while riding her bicycle, during the taping of the final episodes of the series and had to undergo extensive operations in a New York hospital.[1] She was later released from the hospital; however, the taping of Project Runway had already ended.[2]

It was reported that Heidi Klum was organizing a benefit show for Jakubek in New York.
