Elissa Aalto

Elissa Aalto (November 22, 1922April 12, 1994), born Elsa Kaisa Mäkiniemi, was a Finnish architect and author. She was the widow of famed architect Alvar Aalto, who died in 1976. Along with her husband and Harald Deilmann, she helped design the Municapal Theatre in Essen, Northrhine-Westfalia, Germany.
