Elimäki is a municipality of Finland.
It is located in the province of Southern Finland and is part of the Kymenlaakso region. The municipality has a population of 8,562 and covers an area of 391.74 km² of which 8.73 km² is water. The population density is 22.5 inhabitants per km².
The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
As of 2009, the six municipalities - Kouvola, Kuusankoski, Elimäki, Anjalankoski, Valkeala and Jaala - will be merged, accounting for the new municipality of Kouvola with a population of over 80 000, being the 10th largest city in Finland.
