[edit] nice job

great job, guys. this is the best school district entry in illinois!

[edit] info boxes

I modified the list to use the different school info boxes template:infobox high school, template:infobox middle school and template:infobox elementary school. the list now infers which feeder school hierarchy. There is more information hidden in the page that can be revealed when the words high, middle or elementary are removed to reveal the more generic template:infobox school that is appropriate for individual school pages. If and when these schools warrant their own page the information can bee transfered to the new page. This has already been done for Elgin High School.

For example the information for Bartlet high school can take the form of the infobox appropriate for a list or the infobox appropriate for an individual page, see below: David D. (Talk) 22:42, 18 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Infoboxes

Is it just my computer, or are these infoboxes all over the page in a jumbled mess? (My screen res is 1024x768, by the way.) HollyAm 21:29, 16 October 2005 (UTC)

I see what you mean. i had never noticed that before. If you resize the window to be smaller you'll see what it should look like. Is there any way to create a break between info boxes in a similar fashion to a 'return' key on a computer? David D. (Talk) 02:36, 18 October 2005 (UTC)

i think that the other schools should have pages. anyone fell the same?? I can help with that stuff i know exactly were they are and stuff i could provide pics too...--DPG 22:22, 8 August 2006 (UTC)Dpg

[edit] more articles about schools

User:Dpenguinman and I have recenly begun working on aricles about Tefft Middle School and Horizon Elementary School. Both of these need to be expanded firsst. And then I think that we need to add more aricles about the schools, possibly an article about "SWAS", and we need to expand the current high school aricles. I'm really tired of seeing so many red links. I really think that we should work to make this a featured article. DannyQuack 14:31, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

  • I have just begun working on a template to put at the bottom of all U46-related pages.

I am considering creating a U46 WikiProject. I feel that this would encourage growth in this family of articles. These articles could definetly be created and expanded into very good articles. DannyQuack 22:32, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
