Elephant and Castle Pub and Restaurant

A North American restaurant chain based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Founded in 1977, E&C, as it is commonly known as, now has over 20 locations. They serve American and British favorite food and drinks and are commonly known for their slogan, "Bang On!" The name derives from the region in London called Elephant & Castle and the pub with the same name.

In 2007, all of the outstanding shares of Elephant & Castle Group, Inc. were purchased by Repechage Restaurant Group Ltd.; a Canadian corporation based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Repechage Restaurant Group Ltd. (RRG) is controlled and headed by David L. Dobbin of St. John's, Newfoundland.
