Elegantly Wasted is the 10th studio album by the Australian rock band INXS. It was released on 15 April 1997 and is the final album recorded with lead singer Michael Hutchence who was found dead in a Sydney hotel room on November 22 of that year.

- The Japanese regular edition and Australian limited edition release of the album features the bonus track "Let It Ride".
- During the chorus of "Elegantly Wasted" the band can be heard singing "I'm better than Oasis." (Reference: the official INXS autobiography, INXS: Story to Story.)
- This is the only album on Mercury in the US and Canada, as the bulk of the INXS catalogue is on that label in the rest of the world.
- "Elegantly Wasted" is featured on Homicide: Life on the Streets during the end of season six's premiere episode "Blood Ties."
- "Don't Lose Your Head" is featured on the soundtrack for the film Face/Off starring John Travolta and Nicholas Cage. Clips from the movie also appear in the music video.
- "Shine" does not appear on the US/Canada edition and is not to be confused with "Shine Like It Does".
