The primary reason for removing your links is that the external links section is long enough as it is, Wikipedia is not a directory, and the links you provided didn't add anything that was not already present in other links on the page. Specific reasons for removing your links were:

• About.com is a commercial site and commercial sites should be avoided whenever possible.
• Seattlest and metroblogging are blogs which also shouldn't be used.

The purpose of Wikipedia is to be an encyclopedia, not a travel guide, and all links in the external links section should be applied against that prism. --Bobblehead 02:55, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
