"Eldergoth" is a nickname used by John "Jean-Michele" Colbert as his on-line presense. He is known more commonly by the nickname "Spud", and this name is used predominantly within real world social scenes. Additional necknames he is not as commonly known by include, "Strio" and "Belrix"

Eldergoth is rather distinctive in appearance, being 5' 2" tall, completely bald due to the hereditary condition, Alopecia, and nearly albino in appearance due to the hereditary condition, Vitiligo. As his name suggests, he has been closely intined in the Gothic and Industrial music scene for the majority of his life. It is not uncommon to be in the middle of Goth crowd in most any major city in the United States or abroad and ask, "Does anyone know Spud?" with the response being, "Yeah, little, pale, bald guy, right?"

Eldergoth currently resides in the Greater Boston area of the United States.
