Eldora is home to Pine Lake State Park (camping and cabins), the Hardin County Fairgrounds (chuckwagon races, demolition derby and more) and is part of the Iowa River Greenbelt (beautiful scenic trail). With a walking/biking trail running from Deer Park on the east side of the city all the way to Steamboat Rock, Iowa River tubing, a new water park pool (being built in 2006) and a historical courthouse on the town square Eldora is a beautiful town with a little something for everyone.
