This page was created as a merger of the Ulthwé, Saim-Hann and Iyanden pages, with additional information from Eldar (Warhammer 40,000).

[edit] Hello

I moved things over from the main Eldar Page and the few individual craftworld pages. There needs to be a review and perhaps some expansion. SanchiTachi 05:56, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

This page is just begging for an image of a Craftworld. — Lilwik 06:26, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
Note, the information here up and into the above page. SanchiTachi 16:17, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Discussion and "Humor" by Me

One small point: if you've moving content from one page to another, you should always mention in the edit summary or somewhere else where the content came from, so the original authors can be attributed as is required by the GFDL. Cheers --Pak21 10:04, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

That is one side, but the other side is that there is no one author and that Wikipedia is one united entity. I will have to find it, but it says that individuals do not have ownership of their information, yadda yadda, and the point is that you don't have a claim to what is put here. People can find the information by the links on the original Eldar page which had the Craftworld information removed from it, and the histories are still on the pages that are redirected to here. If you want to put mention, feel free. I'm just putting forth the other argument (i.e. rationalizing my laziness). :) SanchiTachi 15:46, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
I found it: WP:OWN. :) But yeah, normally I bring over the talk pages and other such information, and I butcher the pages that I move over (chop them up, expand them, etc), so nothing is really left. However, it was late last night and I didn't have my craft world book. SanchiTachi 16:02, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
Legally, Wikipedia is not "one united entity". See Wikipedia:Copyrights and in particular the first sentence, "The Wikimedia Foundation does not own copyright on Wikipedia article texts and illustrations." The copyright to the text is owned by the orginal contributor, and as such the original author must be credited, in accordance with section 4B of the GFDL. The procedure listed at reusers' rights and obligations must be followed even if the material is being re-used within Wikipedia. The problem is that someone simply finding this page would not know to look at "the original Eldar" page unless that information were listed somewhere (as it is now, so we're all fine). [edit] Biel-Tan Swordwind Sylvanos

Should we include Biel-Tan Swordwind Sylvanos in the article? I'm asking this just out of curiousity. - Frostmourne 16 (talk) 06:28, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
