Eldon Pattyson Black

Eldon Pat Pattyson Black (born October 1925-died November 1999) was a former Canadian diplomat. He was appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Holy See. He also worked in foreign intelligence as a Department of External Affairs Foreign Service Officer.

He authored the book Direct Intervention: Canada-France Relations, 1967-1974 (ISBN 0886292891).
