[edit] Dual identities

I notice that you are editing as both user:75.61.55.54 and User:ElboMisery1993. When you log in to Wikipedia it gives you an option to remember you so you don't have to log in every time. Suggest you do that. Posting with two identities is sort of frowned on as it is confusing to other editors. --NrDg 21:20, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] September, 2007

Please stop. If you continue to blank out (or delete portions of) page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Billy Ray Cyrus, you will be blocked from editing. Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 21:25, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Kyle Jacob Ellis

Please don't make fictional articles, such as Kyle Jacob Ellis. A speedy delete tag has been placed on your page. --Caldorwards4 23:35, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Kyle Jacob Ellis

Kyle Jacob Ellis, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Kyle Jacob Ellis satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kyle Jacob Ellis and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Kyle Jacob Ellis during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Caldorwards4 02:44, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Replaceable fair use Image:Ashley Monroe.jpg

Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Ashley Monroe.jpg. I noticed the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if not used in an article), per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ten Pound Hammer(Broken clamshellsOtter chirps) 04:21, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Ashley Monroe.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Ashley Monroe.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 02:42, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image tagging for Image:YWBLN.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:YWBLN.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 16:08, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Trisha single.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Trisha single.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ten Pound Hammer(Broken clamshellsOtter chirps) 18:10, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] November 2007

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Billy Ray Cyrus. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Contact me if you need assistance adding references. Thank you. Please provide a better reference for information that conflicts with the reference you removed. NrDg 02:32, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:HHATPOL.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:HHATPOL.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:38, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Billy Ray Cyrus album images

I thought it was a good idea too, but unfortunately wiki copyright restrictions on the fair use of copyrighted images, which these albums were, prohibit using them to illustrate a bio article. Fair use only allows them to be used to illustrate the article on that actual album. Sorry. --NrDg 23:34, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for agreeing with me on that image subject! I'm so tired of the way the chart looks, the references are really getting on my nerves. If the images can't be displayed like you said, then why are Kevin Fowler's shown? It makes no sense.
They shouldn't be there either. It is just that someone hasn't caught it yet.--NrDg 02:52, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
I just wish that people would understand to keep the GOOD changes up, and get rid of the dumb ones. (Like the Album chart for Billy Ray)
Thanks.
The problem is the different people have different ideas of what GOOD is. I appreciate that you are trying to improve the article. As long as the data is correct and verifiable, I, myself, don't really mind how it is formatted. Unfortunately some people DO mind and it is kind of a losing battle to go against the flow. --NrDg 02:52, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

ElboMisery1993 23:41, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
Please leave the album chart as is. It is not a "dumb change". The chart makes all the data easier to read. If you think that it should be changed, please make a suggestion on the Billy Ray Cyrus talk page. Ten Pound Hammer(Broken clamshellsOtter chirps) 00:59, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
I've already suggested that a million times, and the suggestion always gets deleted from the talk page.
ElboMisery1993 01:05, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
Nothing on topic should ever be deleted from the talk page. Please don't give up on using the talk page. Just make sure that you ADD your comments and don't make changes to stuff that is already there. Understand that you might not get what you want and may have to compromise. --NrDg 02:52, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
