Elbe & Sohn, GmbH & Co. is a German universal joint, driveshaft, and power transmission component manufacturer in Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany.
The company is part of Elbe Holding, which manages three divisions:
The Elbe division, made up of the main production facility in Bietigheim-Bissingen, and Elbe USA in South Haven, Michigan, USA.
The Elso division, consisting of the main Elso plant in Hofheim, Bavaria, Germany, and a plant in Eger, Hungary. Elbe holding also owns a controlling interest in the Zodel company, next door to the Elso plant.
Elbe Italia, with Elbe Italia North in Abbadia Lariana, Italy, and Elbe Italia South in Grumento Nova.
