Welcome!
Hello Elakazal, and welcome to Wikipedia!
You seem off to an excellent start, and hardly in need of the generic links and suggestions to newcomers! You've mastered the art of signing your name, using edit summaries, discussing your contributions on talk pages, and making good contributions as well. You seem to be putting your botanical knowledge to good use. Do you have an interest in grapes and wine? I have done a little work in the sensory science/psychology aspects...
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page.
Again, welcome! Limegreen 22:54, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
Thanks! I'm still sort of figuring things out here, but I think I've mastered the basics at least.
My background is horticulture, specifically fruit breeding, and I've worked with lots of different species, so I know a bit about quite a few of them. Some of them I'd really like to sit down and work out a major revamp of a few of them (the grape and strawberry pages in particular), but I never seem to have the time to really devote a long while to it. My experience with grapes and wine comes from the breeding standpoint. I've tasted so much bad wine that almost all of itl tastes pretty okay to me at this point. [edit] Invitation to Wine Project
I noticed your valuable contribution regarding taxonomy to the Muscadine article. I hope you will consider joining the Wikipedia Wine Project to perform similar edits on Wikipedia's other wine articles. You're not in Florida by any chance? That's the only place I've tasted Muscadine wine. If you decide to join, please add the tag {{User WikiProject Wine}} on your user page. Thanks! Amatulic 21:56, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

EXCUSE ME STRAWBERRIES ARE MADE OF FLESH PLEASE REVERT YOUR EDITS —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.93.75.102 (talk) 03:42, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
Strawberries are indeed made of flesh, however the passage as written refers to how they are consumed, such fresh or frozen. Changing the term to "flesh" makes it an awkward and nonsensical sentence. I stand by the edit. Elakazal (talk) 07:44, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
