Elayavoor is a census town in Kannur district in the state of Kerala, India.

As of 2001 India census[1], Elayavoor had a population of 31,545. Males constitute 47% of the population and females 53%. Elayavoor has an average literacy rate of 86%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 87%, and female literacy is 85%. In Elayavoor, 10% of the population is under 6 years of age.Elayavoor is the nearest panchayath of Kannur town.It have a vast area of cultivating land in old time.As like all other panchayath Elayavoor also lost majority of cultivating lands.
