Elaine Komandorski aka Georgia Sakristos, aka Lady Georgia Young, Countess of North Hollow is a fictional character in the Honorverse. She appears in Field of Dishonor and War of Honor, and her background is discussed in Crown of Slaves
Komandorski entered the world as a genetic slave. In exchange for her freedom and 500,000 Solarian credits, she helped Mesa capture a freighter full of escaped slaves. This earned her the undieing hatred of the Audubon Ballroom.
After undergoing biosculpt to change her appearance and remove the identifying marker from her tongue, she took the name Elaine Komandorski and settle herself on Manticore in Landing City. Over time she became the city's most notorious criminal, specializing in financial crimes, specifically industrial espionage and swindling. She is also suspected of committing two murders.
Eventually she went underground again, and later reemerged as Georgia Sakaristos, the Chief Security Officer for Lord Dmitri Young, Earl of North Hollow. She would later serve as the aide and reluctant lover of his son Pavel Young. While she did assist him in his efforts to destroy then Countess Honor Harrington, she also worked behind the scenes to destroy him as well. She undertook the hiring of Denver Summervale, a professional duelist, to kill Paul Tankersley, with whom Harrington was deeply in love, and then Harrington herself. Then she contacted one of Harrington's friends, Captain Ernestine Corell, and told her where Summervale could be found. This ultimately lead to Harrington challenging both Summervale and Pavel Young to duels.
After Pavel's death, Komandorski married Pavel's brother, Stefan. As Stefan was a member of the Conservative Association, she too joined the party. Her string-pulling and delicate dirty-tricks maneuvering earned her political clout and authority within the Conservative Association that exceeded even that of her husband.
In War of Honor, Komandorski met privately with Catherine Montaigne and Anton Zilwicki. Zilwicki had learned that not only was "Georgia Young" formerly known Elaine Kormadorski, but that she was wanted by the Audubon Ballroom. Montaigne made the following offer: In exchange for engineering an explosion that would destroy both the "North Hollow Files" and the house where they were stored — without killing anybody — before leaving the Star Kingdom, Montaigne withhold the information from the Ballroom for 72 hours after the files were destroyed. Komandorski agreed, and shortly thereafter, the Young family townhouse in Landing went up in smoke.
