Elachorbis diaphana is a minute sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Cyclostrematidae.

This species is endemic to the Foveaux Strait area of New Zealand.

This rare species is found living on oyster shells.
[edit] Shell description
This species, known only from the obviously immature, unique type specimen, differs from Elachorbis subtatei in having finer and more numerous spiral threads, that commence at the suture; in Elachorbis subtatei there is a distinct plain subsutural sulcus, before the spirals commence. Adult specimens are awaited.
The shell height of the immature type specimen is 0.4 mm, and the width is 0.75 mm.
