[edit] Needs expansion

Its eruption affected the global atmosphere, and was one of the volcanic eruptions of the 20th-century which had the strongest effects on the atmosphere (behind Pinatubo). A lot of information could be added from an article in the Nov. 1982 National Geographic. The nearest town was Pichucalco (see Municipalities of Chiapas). AnonMoos (talk) 09:16, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
