El Tanque Sisley are a football club from Montevideo in Uruguay. They currently play in the Uruguayan 2nd Division.

The club were founded in 1955 with the name Centro Atlético El Tanque, on December 15, 1981 the club were amalgamated with Club Cultural y Deportivo Sisley to form Centro Cultural y Deportivo El Tanque Sisley. Colors were taken from Rosarino Central,one of the big clubs of the F.U.F era.

  • Played only one season in first division, (1991),in which major honours included beating Nacional 2-0 and Peñarol 1-0 in one week.Front member of the argentine music band Kapanga became fan of the team after this success.

This campaign winning in the second leg against the two big clubs of the country and then being relegated was oddly emulated by the inner country club Deportivo Colonia in 2006.

  • The club is referenced on a number of occasions in the Uruguayan movie Whisky.
