El Paso High School is the oldest operating high school in El Paso, Texas and is part of the El Paso Independent School District. It sits on a mountainside at the foot of the Franklin Mountains overlooking the central portion of the city and its boundary with Mexico. The school stands out prominently on the horizon commanding a view of the city. Since its first year in 1916-1917, "The Lady on the Hill" has graduated many prominent citizens of the community, and has captured hundreds of trophies, plaques, and championships in all fields.

Perhaps the most well-known alumus is academy award winner F. Murray Abraham.
