El Jeffrey

El Jeffrey is a merengue and bachata artist from the Dominican Republic. A major album of his is "Mi Tierra".
His name is thought to derive from that of a British seaman serving on H.M.S. Actaeon, Geoffrey Turner, who sired several illegitimate children on the island of Hispaniola in the 18th century.
