El Internado (Spanish, 'Boarding School') is a Spanish television horror drama focusing on the inhabitants of a fictional boarding school in a forest, where teenagers are sent by her parents to study. The boarding school is situated in a forest far from the city, on the outskirts on which macabre events occur. The series made its debut on 24 May 2007, and is a production of Antena 3. Although the series are recorded and produced in HD, they are only broadcast in SD. However, a HD Blu-ray Disc release has been announced.
