El Gran Orgo is the third EP by At the Drive-In. It was recorded and released in 1997 without the presence of Jim Ward, whose guitar duties were filled by Ben Rodriguez and Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, who had previously played bass on Acrobatic Tenement.

The Title "El Gran Orgo" is taken from one of the characters of the movie "Santa Sangre" by Alejandro Jodorowsky. Both Omar Rodríguez-López and Cedric Bixler-Zavala are declared fans of Jodorowsky's work. "Winter Month Novelty" pays homage to American socialite David Stripling, who hails from their native El Paso.
