El Club Naval de Ferrol

El Club Naval de Ferrol is officially named Centro Deportivo SocioCultural Armada (CDSCA) since may 25th, 2003. It's located in Ferrol, Galicia (Spain).

It was originally established may 17th, 1950, as Comisión Naval de Regatas, changing its denomination in 1974, by the Spanish Ministry of Defence (Spanish MOD), and limited for the amusement and entertaining of the Spanish Navy personnel and their families posted to the Naval Station of El Ferrol.

This institution counts with an excellent library (with some antique and rare books) swimming pools, golf courses, football, basket ball and tennis courts, restaurants, dancing halls, sailing clubs, and a long etc… which includes a naval museum, now open to the public.
